I am an NSERC-funded Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Manitoba, Section of Neurosurgery (Rady Faculty of Health Sciences), working at the intersection of medical imaging AI, physiological signal processing, and clinical decision support. My research focuses on building production-grade deep learning systems that are interpretable, uncertainty-aware, and deployable in real clinical environments including 24/7 ICU pipelines.
I hold a PhD in Data Science with Distinction from Chulalongkorn University, an MSc and BSc in Electrical Engineering, and an MBA. I am a licensed P.Eng. with Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba (APEGM) and serve as Area Chair for IJCNN 2025. My 600+ peer reviews span IEEE TMI, IEEE Access, Scientific Reports, and 60+ other journals.

Postdoctoral Research Fellow – Intelligent Sensing, Signal Analysis and Medical AI

Leading NSERC-funded research programme developing production-grade medical AI systems for clinical data extraction and physiological signal analysis. Deployed a real-time computer vision pipeline (YOLOv8 + transformer OCR) achieving 3× throughput, running 24/7 on GCP Cloud Run. Developing physiological signal AI models (1D-CNN, LSTM) for ICP, ABP, SpO2, and NIRS anomaly detection with SHAP-based attribution. Supervising Michael Movshovich (MD Year 1) and Vuk Roka (UG Computer Engineering). Completed TIPs teaching development programme (June 2025).
